Tried the new Shin Ramen Black.

Comes with veggies and beef pack, hot powder much like the original hot powder, and some lighter white colored powder that makes the soup creamy and I dunno... shitty

eat.  No Bueno.  Its okay but I prefer the original.  I heard they even stopped making them in Korea.

Bought two live uni.  They are HUGE 2 pounds each

random crap.  coworker wanted to go to Gordon biersch so we got these stupid southwest egg rolls

and fish and chips =/

oh yeah the 1 year old kids bday with the fried chicken had this crazy cake!!! haha!

Bought some monfish liver
Soak in water for a few hours changing often

then sake, salt, sugar, water overnight

roll and cook sous vide 

tada!!! ankimo torchon

The most awesome use for my new tub o water, defrosting.  Defrost two solid steaks in 20 minutes.

trying to cook more crap... daikon simmering in a dashi broth with mushrooms

I cut out carrot stars using my bento making kit!!! 

leftover salmon and skate not big enough to make a meal on their own

cook up some cabbage with vinegar and crap

crisp up the salmon skin

fry up the skate and top the cabbage

cook up the salmon and top the dashi daikon soup thingie 

dinner is done!!! yum o

okay last post for now about sous vide shit

 Season the steaks with salt and pepper and vacuum seal.  Cook sous vide for 45 minutes at 56.1 degrees C or 133 degrees F - medium rare
 held the bag up a little with a clothespin so the water could swirl around the bag better.  Remove from bag and sear both sides in a pan, on a grill, or use a blowtorch!!!
 perfectly cooked inside from edge to edge.  Cant beat that!

I added a heatsink to the relay so it doesnt get too hot and burn the house down

vacuum seal some chicken breasts with salt pepper olive oil and thyme

plug it in
