Still not cooking as much as I used to but still doing multi course dinner parties!

Squid noodle salad with a black garlic sauce

cured pork loin over pea puree and pea shoot salad

scallops and asparagus puree

steak and foie with mushrooms and asparagus

The butcher didnt have smaller marrow bones.  I ended up with a 2 pounder.  It was too much marrow.

been baking my own bread!!! havent purchased bread in over 2 months!

Decided to make some nigiri with stuff in the fridge.  Real kobe beef, foie gras, spicy scallop, regular scallop, and tobiko.  Was fun!  Was tasty!  Will do again!

Sunday simple dinner.  We ate outside and Brody had a blast!

for my birthday I ordered a 17lb lobster.  Wooo!!!!

My newest toy.  Lovin it.  The bags are so much cheaper than the regular vacuum sealers.  I figure oh after about 2000 uses it will all even out.  I better start vacuum packing EVERYTHING.

I have been compressing so much melon but to be honest I dont really care for the difference.  I think it will be much more fun to infuse these melon pieces with vodka.  Yum.

I done did it.  I bought the El Bulli book set.  My collection is growing and I love it!@!!@@!
